The industrial flap valve seals have either a double and triple centralized form. Their plate structure provides the required adaptability.
The seal’s components consist of metallic and „soft” layers. The metallic layers are normally of stainless steel. They can also be made from nickel and cobalt alloys or copper. The soft materials used are of: graphite, PTFE, graphite aramid or NBR connected aramid.
Contours are achieved by means of NC steering. The required shape is obtained independently.
The surface of the spherical seal is polished in a separate process.
